Morning Sickness At Night

Morning sickness at night (misnomer) sounds really strange, but is commonly observed in pregnant women today. Morning sickness in mainly related with pregnancy and the women face it with nausea or vomiting. Morning sickness may be mild or severe depending upon the condition of the person. Severity may cause weight loss or vomiting and at times dehydration. Morning sickness may be observed by few people through out the day and even in the night time. Morning sickness at night may be really disturbing and making feel uncomfortable as you need to be awake through out the night. Various reasons mingle together for the cause of morning sickness at night. The increase of estrogen levels in the body are said to be one of the main reasons for the cause of this situation. Women who possess multiples are said to have high levels of human chorionic gonadotropin which help in increasing the morning sickness during the night time. Women when consume spicy and rich foods during thier pregnancy, can indirectly cause some trouble to gastrointestinal tract which inturn leads to nausea or vomiting.

Morning Sickness At Night

The practice of various home remedies helps in fighting against this morning sickness in night. Never consume large heavy meals before you go to bed and its better to take small snacks like cereals or milk. Eating protien food helps in controlling the blood sugar levels in the body. Instead of fixed heavy meals, try to break your meals and eat small snacks for every three hours. Keep your room airy and dust free. Add fresh fruits and vegetables along with nutritious balanced food to your regular diet. Drink lots of fluids and fresh juices to keep nausea away from you. Junk food need to be completely avoided that may upset your stomach. Sipping ginger tea or herbal tea may make you feel better. Consume only those foods which you like and you feel more satisfied. Always use a pillow under your head and legs while you rest and try to sleep well to avoid nausea and vomiting. Light excercises and a evening walk help you feel better during this period. Take slow deep breaths. Never keep your stomach hungry for long hours. Never consume alcohol and stop smoking. Even by practising all these methods if the problem does not reduce and still you feel morning sickness at night, it is better to consult your doctor as she may guide you in a better way to cope up the present  situation.
